So, I thought I'd bring my gentle readers back down to earth by mentioning the Virtual Autopsy. This site presents 18 medical cases, giving their histories, and allowing visitors to click on various parts of the body and see pictures of bodily organs, along with descriptions of their conditions. Those with some medical astuteness can even try to guess the cause of death for each case.
